Sky over Copenhagen

Whether you just moved to the Danish Kingdom’s capital or have lived here for a while, there are gems in this city that you may not have visited yet, because they require a bit of planning and effort. How about visiting two of them – both offering breathtaking views over Copenhagen?

We will start with the spire of Our Savior Church (Vor Frelsers Kirke). Its golden spiral seems weightless and fragile, yet it is robust enough to have survived the Danish weather since Protected content . We can not only admire it, but also climb it, overcoming Protected content .

After that, we will visit a modern pearl of Danish architecture – the Rooftop of the Danish Film Institute, located about half an hour’s walk from the church. The kitchen is closed for winter, but we can grab a sandwich in the Lille Sult downstairs and indulge ourselves with a coffee or a drink upstairs.
