Masters of Taste - Appetizer: Taste Harbour (Local Event)

Hello Antwerp travelers,

Time for another local discovery event, time to travel around our own city! This is activity 1 of 2 that I am organizing for this day. PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY BECAUSE IT CONTAINS A LINK YOU WILL NEED TO REGISTER FOR THIS ACTIVITY!

The iconic 'Loodswezen' building on the banks of the river Scheldt will become the home base for culinary Flanders in a few years, an initiative known as Smaakhaven ('Taste Harbour' in English). On Sunday, 6 October, you can exceptionally have a look inside the building and get a unique preview of what this initiative will become. You will be offered a drink and a food archaeologist will take you on a journey through Flanders' culinary past (tour in Dutch). Apart from this, you will also get a good look at the interior of this historic building.
