Tony Cragg Art Exhibition

“Infinite forme e bellissime”, grande mostra personale dell’artista inglese Tony Cragg, tra i più celebri esponenti della scultura contemporanea, noto per aver sempre sperimentato forme sorprendenti accanto a materiali e tecniche inedite.
La mostra porta negli ambienti carichi di storia delle Terme di Diocleziano diciotto sculture dalle forme seducenti, perturbanti, misteriose, che entrano in dialogo con gli spazi archeologici del museo. “Infinite forme e bellissime”, una frase topica di Charles Darwin, evoca l’inarrestabile entusiasmo dell’artista di fronte all’inesauribile ricchezza di forme del mondo naturale.
“Infinite Forms and Beautiful”, a great exhibition of the english artist Tony Cragg, one of the most famous exponent of contemporary sculpture, known for having always experimented with surprising forms alongside new materials and techniques.
The exhibition brings eighteen sculptures with seductive, disturbing, mysterious forms into the history-filled spaces of the Terme of Diocletian, which enter into dialogue with the archaeological spaces of the museum. “Infinite Forms and Beautiful”, a topical phrase by Charles Darwin, evokes the artist’s unstoppable enthusiasm in the face of the inexhaustible wealth of forms in the natural world.
