Redefining (Expat) Success
Almost all decisions that led us to move abroad were driven by the hope of finding greater success and happiness—whether it meant a better job, following a loved one, or seeking adventure. Deep down, we all aim for a balance of success and happiness, yet often end up with mixed results: we achieve success but feel something is missing, or we’re happy but have compromised our career. Striking the right balance is challenging, especially abroad.
This struggle often comes from relying on outdated ideas of what success and happiness should be. To truly thrive, we must have the courage to redefine success.
Modern psychology and neuroscience confirm that we can adjust our beliefs and redefine success. However, science also shows that we often misunderstand what leads to happiness.
So, how do we redefine success to include happiness?
In this interactive session we will:
• Examine your current definition of success and its origins
• Explore what science tells us about well-being and happiness & how we often misjudge it
• Reflect on creating a new, personalised definition of success
You will leave with greater clarity on avoiding common pitfalls & discover key elements to align your priorities, bringing you closer to true success and happiness.
