Music of the Uruguayan Carnival : Candombe and Murga
As a follow up of this event about the Uruguayan carnival
here is a session about its music, the candombe, the special carnival music and dance developed by Afro-Uruguayans, ( a highly prized art form and inscribed on UNESCO’s list of Intangible Cultural Heritage) and the Murga (musical theatre).
