Trekking Ilha Grande - 2nd Edition

Walking 6 days along trails is the most intense way to get to know Isla Grande, a biological reserve and world heritage site, either inside the dense forest, finding waterfalls and streams, or by the sea. Trail maps are scattered throughout the island. The plaques show the routes, numbered from 1 to 16, with the average length of the route and degree of difficulty.

- to Araçatiba (11km)
- to Aventureiro (9 km)
- to Vila do Abraão Protected content + boat)

It's hard not to stop at at least one of them to see until where you can get there following the marked paths. With an area of Protected content , it is to be expected that many of us will want to explore this paradise on foot. And not only this is possible, it is one of the best ways to discover the beaches, mangroves, rivers, waterfalls and the secrets of the island in an intimate way.
Trekking and hiking are excellent ways to discover Isla Grande, especially for those who enjoy direct contact with nature. The forest is lush and the scenery along the trails is truly spectacular.
There are trails for all levels. With a few minutes of walking it is already possible to have the sensation of walking on the path that leads to paradise.
