Tribute to Buddy Holly

Let us enjoy a free concert inside the beautiful Lord Mayor's City Council's heritage-listed, built in Brisbane, between Protected content 1930. A fine example of neo-classical architecture, with its sweeping marbles, vaulted ceilings, chandeliers and mosaic-tiled floor.

The concert is held inside the Main Auditorium, the larger space in the building, which circular design is based on the Pantheon of Rome.

The stage has a superb organ, originally built by in Protected content Father Henry Willis, the greatest British organ builder of the late nineteenth century. It has more than Protected content , the longest one reaches 9.75 metres

The Australian Buddy Holly Show is an entertaining tribute to one of the pioneers of rock n roll. Starring Kris Knight who brings Buddy back to life, accompanied by his four-piece band of drums, guitar, stand up bass, keyboard and saxophone.

Kris has performed around the world, and also regularly guest entertains on luxury cruise ships, including Princess, Oceanic and Celebrity lines. This 60-minute show features Buddy's hits including 'Oh Boy', 'Rave On', 'That'll Be The Day', as well as beautiful ballads like 'Raining In My Heart', 'True Love Ways', and 'Everyday'.
