Let us enjoy a free concert inside the beautiful Lord Mayor's City Council's heritage-listed, built in Brisbane, between Protected content 1930. A fine example of neo-classical architecture, with its sweeping marbles, vaulted ceilings, chandeliers and mosaic-tiled floor.

The concert is held inside the Main Auditorium, the larger space in the building, which circular design is based on the Pantheon of Rome.

The stage has a superb organ, originally built by in Protected content Father Henry Willis, the greatest British organ builder of the late nineteenth century. It has more than Protected content , the longest one reaches 9.75 metres

Back by popular demand, on show this time, Aloha Boys with soulful story-telling, humour and superb musicianship. Calypso, country-blues, Bossa Nova, retro tunes and original songs all find their way into shows that feature Michel Rose, Kym Ambrose's percussive grooves, and Chet Atkins finger-pickin' Gretsch vibes of ARIA nominated Danny Widdicombe.

Danny has brought the house down with Beatles and Neil Young tribute shows. Michel Rose is the most in-demand pedal-steel guitarist in Australia, with a full dance card at the Tamworth Country Music Festival every year, and a history of touring and recording with some of the country's most loved artists. Rounding out the trio, Kym Ambrose brings his innate musicality to the drum kit, and the experience of 45 years in the jazz, country, soul and Brazilian musical realms. This is a concert to sooth the soul.
