Bike Route From Casa De Campo to El Pardo

For a sunny but chilly Christmas Saturday I propose a bike route connecting the two most precious natural treasures we have in the municipality of Madrid: Casa de Campo and El Pardo.

The route is about 30 km. We´ll do some stops at Mirador de Valpalomero with fantastic views over Guadarrama mountains and at the Plaza del Pardo (close to the Palacio del Pardo), for a coffee break. So, it may take around 3/4 hours to complete it.

It’s a circular route. The first part is a bit more demanding, until we reach Mirador de Valpalomero. Then a nice and easy descent to El Pardo Palace. On our way back to Casa de Campo we’ll just follow the Manzanares river so it will be completely flat.
