Special Hike. Abantos Peak. El Escorial

This is a special hike. Why?
InterNatios London Community members are coming and I will host a couple of hikes during the weekend.

We will climb up to the Abantos Peak where we see scenic views and pass by the hiding beech forest.

Come in and join this route on Saturday to visit one of the most emblematic spots of the season and see autumn colours.

Itinerary: San Lorenzo de El Escorial- Euroforum - Senda de los Gallegos-Puerto de Malagón- Pico Abantos-Fuente del Cernuval- Presa del Romeral

Duration: 5 hours approx. with stops
Distance: 15 Km
Difficulty: Hard IBP index: 88 SEE the picture uploaded to the activity and see the route's difficulty according to the physical level.

Lunch on the route. Please bring water and food.

3.- If you need/offer a ride, leave a message on the wall. I will not arrange the carpool.

4.- GOOD PHYSICAL CONDITIONS ARE REQUIRED and wearing appropriate equipment is a MUST - mountain boots, windproof and waterproof clothing.

5.- Anyone walking with the Explorer Group does so at their own risk. Outdoor activities have risks and can be challenging. Difficulty levels are provided as a general guide only.
