Solo exhibition by Aubrey Kurlansky
Scene Not Seen
A Journey Beyond the Visible
In a world saturated with familiar sights and expected patterns, ‘Scene Not Seen’ invites you to experience what lies beneath the surface, in the corners of imagination often left untouched. This exhibition blurs the line between the seen and the unseen, presenting paintings that evoke hidden narratives that feel beguiling and familiar, unexplored landscapes and images, and the subtle emotions and memories woven between the lines.
Through each piece, the artist has captured moments that exist beyond the ordinary — scenes that aren’t apart of everyday perception but live in our dreams, memories, and intuition. It's a celebration of what our eyes often miss or simply do not see, inviting viewers to engage with the deeper stories that reveal themselves only when we pause and look beyond.
Join us in this transformative visual journey where every painting is a window into a world just out of sight, waiting to be discovered. ’Scene Not Seen’ is an exploration of the partially visible, where the unseen becomes the most captivating story of all.
Opens 9 November Sriwiang Gallery / Sathorn / Bangkok
