**Update** Rachmaninoff and Tchaikovsky in Doha's Best Venue

The Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No. 2 and Tchaikovsky's final symphony, the Pathétique, at the Katara Opera House.
Do I need to say anything more?
If I do, contemplate paying Protected content % of the price one would pay in Europe (or Oz or the US) for a performance of the same, if not better, standard. And in a venue with proper acoustics and air conditioning.
The most expensive tickets for the concert are QAR200, which is certainly better value than a World Cup game featuring Australia vs France (at 4 times the price) considering the outcome.
It's a Sunday night, so I won't organise anything pre or prior, but I will update should one of my fellow consuls choose to do so.
