A Deep Dive Into Narrative Art + the Memory of Ustica

9.50 am meeting at the Bomar Studio located in via Imola 13/A Bologna.

10.10 am start of the guided tour by Marco Bolognesi. The itinerary will reveal the relationship between figurative art, sculpture and the production process of cinematographic animation.

11.20 am transfer to the nearby Ustica Memorial Museum, set up thanks to the Association of the Relatives of the Victims of the Ustica Massacre to commemorate the tragic event when the 81 plane passengers lost their lives. The permanent installation by French artist Christian Boltanski surrounds the remains of the DC9 aircraft struck down on 27th June Protected content consists of 81 lights, mirrors and speakers whispering sentences as well as common and universal thoughts in memory of the victims.
