About the play: Sally, held responsible for the death of the child of the powerful Wax family in the region, will escape execution if she is pregnant. The task of determining whether Sally is pregnant falls to a jury composed of women. However, delivering a fair verdict will not be easy for these twelve women, overshadowed by the crowd eager to lynch the accused, their own anxieties, pasts, and connections.
