Kick off your weekend on Friday, March 28, at MFA Late Nites with programming partner Silk R&B Party! Celebrate rhythm and blues, a genre of music permanently woven into the fabric of our country and culture. Silk isn’t just Boston’s premiere R&B party; it’s a musical journey through time—from classic tracks to new sounds that push the genre’s boundaries today.
Experience R&B in all its forms, sing and move to some of the city’s best DJs, and create your own art inspired by the music. While immersing yourself in R&B, explore the galleries, including the powerful exhibition “Witnessing Humanity: The Art of John Wilson,” which features more than Protected content by the Roxbury native. And catch an early sneak peek at “Van Gogh: The Roulin Family Portraits” two days before it opens to the public!
