All'alba del Protected content , l'istituto religioso Sant'ignazio deve prepararsi a un evento storico: dal conclave veneziano emerge il nuovo Papa Pio VII, che per l'occasione visiterà tutte le chiese del Veneto e a Sant'ignazio presenzierà a un concerto organizzato per lui. A capo del coro composto da ragazze orfane cresciute nell'istituto c'è Perlina, il quale però è in crisi d'ispirazione e scarica la frustrazione sulle povere musiciste, oltre che sulla cameriera Teresa, una ragazza che non parla ma possiede un grande talento musicale. Con il concerto che si avvicina a grandi passi, saranno le giovani a prendere in mano il destino dell'istituto per proporre una musica decisamente poco classica.

At the dawn of the Protected content , the religious institute of Sant'Ignazio had to prepare for a historic event: the new Pope Pius VII emerged from the Venetian conclave, who for the occasion visited all the churches of the Veneto region and attended a concert organized for him in Sant'Ignazio. At the head of the choir made up of orphaned girls raised in the institute is Perlina, who, however, is in a crisis of inspiration and unloads his frustration on the poor musicians, as well as on the maid Teresa, a girl who does not speak but she has a great musical talent.
