Let's Explore the Baltic History in Sweden!
I invite you to join me for an exciting (if that is the right word even) exhibition that tells the not well known, incredible and tragic story of people from Baltic countries who fled in small boats over the Baltic sea during the World Wor II to escape Soviet Union. Baltic countries are just accrsoss the sea from Sweden, yet their history is not well known here. This exhibition tells this story and has many artifacts and stories of people who were just children then, and have lived their lives in Sweden never having had a chance to go back.
That is only one of the exhibitions. We can explore the rest of the museum that tells the history of Swedish Sea endeavors. And that is a rich history! Also the museum itself is a wonderful building worth seeing in the middle of Östermalm.
Feel free to invite your partners and take your children with you!
After the visit to the museum visit we will go for a coffee on Strandvägen or at the museum.
You can buy the ticket in advance (see the link) or at the entrance.
