Deck-Building Board Games

What better way to celebrate the reopening of the Helsinki metro line than meeting up in the heart of town for some fun games.
Deckbuilding games, where you are collecting cards which give different abilities, have produced some of the most exciting but simple board games of the last few years. For this evening, we will have several options available so can cater for different numbers and levels of experience:

- Quest for El Dorado. Probably the best entry level deck building game, easy to learn, fun and fast to play. Collect cards to help you in a race across the board to be the first to find the treasure of El Dorado
- Clank. Great fun with a lot of humour. Explore underground caverns for treasure, but be careful not to wake the dragon!
- Dominion. The original euro- card buildig game. Take the part of a medieval monarch and gain allies to help you thwart your rivals
-Wingspan. Collect different species of birds, gather food and eggs and see who makes the most succesful conservationist.

We will meet in Protected content next to Yliopisto metro. Drinks and snacks available but otherwise no fee. It's fine if you are new to these kinds of games. We can also discuss what kind of games nights to organise in the future
