Steve Schapiro: I’m Not Here

Dear friends of photography,
join me this Saturday on a journey to freedom, created by Steve Schapiro.
"The exhibition »I’m Not Here« by Steve Schapiro is the largest presentation of the artist’s work since his passing in Protected content . It comprises around 40 works, a large number of which are being shown for the first time worldwide. At the center of the exhibition is the theme of freedom, to which Steve Schapiro felt closely connected throughout his life.
The exhibition is divided into three sections: the civil rights movement in the USA, portraits of major pop culture personalities such as Andy Warhol, David Bowie, Samuel Beckett and Barbra Streisand, as well as Steve Schapiro’s works created on famous film sets, including The Godfather, Taxi Driver, E.T., Back to the Future and Rocky."
See you there!
