He won a Grammy Award in Protected content Chick Corea's "The Spanish Heart Band," was named Best European Jazz Musician by the French Jazz Academy in Protected content , and received the National Award for Contemporary Music from the Spanish Ministry of Education and Culture in Protected content .
He collaborated with Paco de Lucía for over 40 years and participated in the iconic album "La Leyenda del Tiempo" by Camarón de la Isla, integrating the flute and saxophone into flamenco.
