Let's Celebrate:-)
Let’s take part in the celebration of the 100th anniversary of Surrealism, though a bit late.
I’d like to invite you to join me in visiting the unusual retrospective of the works of the Belgian artist Paul Delvaux.
It offers a complete overview of his oeuvre, which shows his position within Surrealism and the broader history of art.
It is the first one since the major exhibition at the Protected content
on the occasion of his 100th birthday in Protected content . It is a unique opportunity to discover the world of Paul Delvaux, from his first to his last work ( Protected content ).
In the exhibition, Delvaux's works are shown side by side with those of other great names, revealing similarities and differences.
Lunch at "Madame Boverie" would be a nice bonus😉
So, shall we go?
The question is, how should we go? By train is about a 2-hour trip, with a change in Hasselt or in Brussels. The museum is situated on the 15 min distance from the station. By car it is an hour and a half with parking joy at that😉
I prefer train, and a one through Brussels, what about you? There is a possibility of discussion.
