Art Museum (First Thursday) + Pizza
Easy Bay activity alert! It's (FREE) First Thursday at the Protected content and a great opportunity to see Making Their Mark!
Following its Protected content York debut, the Making Their Mark exhibit includes Protected content from the Shah Garg Collection, amplifying the voices and visions of women artists from the postwar era to the present. The art juxtaposes contemporary practices with pathbreaking historical work. These are artists who counter conventions and embrace craft techniques and alternative materials.
After the exhibit (from Protected content , we can enjoy some pizza at Jupiter (7:15-8:15 ish)—a couple blocks away. NOTE: The Downtown Berkeley BART station is right across the street. Also, I will likely be at the museum by 5:30 ish if you happen to get there early as well.
No need to order a free ticket in advance (per the museum staff) but you are still welcome to reserve one (and get a sense of the art) here:
