11/14: HH Social + SF Ready (Emergency Preparedness)

If not, join us to learn valuable skills in emergency response and disaster preparedness!

SF Ready is taught by SFFD firefighters and I’m hosting a session for my South Beach neighborhood.

- 5:30pm wine social followed by 6:30pm class
- InterNations attendees will have name tags to identify each other

SF Ready counts as class #1 in the 6-class NERT (Neighborhood Emergency Response Team) series - for those interested in certification.

CLASS #1 TOPICS
Disaster awareness, emergency preparedness and hazard mitigation, including:
- Earthquake type, magnitude, history and probability
- How to prepare before it happens
- What to do when the earth starts to shake

TAKEAWAYS
Students will receive disaster supply kit lists and a copy of the slides.
