I’d love for you to join me at the "Archaeology of Food" event at the Carmo Archaeological Museum. It's a two-day event (April Protected content , and it would be great to explore it together! You can check the website for more details or visit at different times: Protected content

Event Highlights:

Guided Tours: Explore the museum and convent ruins with a guided tour (in Portuguese and English). We’ll aim for the 4:30 PM English tour, subject to availability.

Creative Workshops: Participate in hands-on activities, such as weaving, making ropes, and fabric printing with natural dyes.

Historical Reenactments: Watch reenactments of ancient food preparation and Ice Age hunting, organized by the Côa Museum.

Children’s Activities: Themed games and workshops, including the "Scribes of Lisbon" workshop for kids aged 6 and up.

Exhibitions and Lectures: Explore exhibitions and attend talks on the evolution of food preparation and consumption.

Our Plan: Let’s meet at 3:00 PM. We can look around, and if available, join the 4:30 PM English tour. We can’t confirm the tour in advance, but we’ll check when we arrive.
