Hello to all I haven’t seen for a while & to our newcomers :),

Join us for an immersive guided tour of two of Lisbon’s most iconic and historically significant landmarks: the Aqueduto das Águas Livres and the Reservatório da Mãe d’Água das Amoreiras.

Discover the fascinating engineering feats behind the construction of the aqueduct and the reservoir, both dating back to the 18th century. These structures were essential in providing Lisbon with fresh water for centuries. The tour will take you across the remarkable arches of the aqueduct, offering stunning views of the city, and through the impressive underground chambers of the reservoir.

The route includes crossing the Campo de Ourique gallery, a visit to the Amoreiras monumental complex, which includes the final reservoir – Mãe d’Água das Amoreiras, the Arco Monumental das Amoreiras and the sequence of ten round arches, which follow the Praça das Amoreiras.

Cheers
