Explore this hidden gem so close to Nairobi!
Watch Tea pickers at work in the vast farms. Smell freshly cut tea as you walk or cycle through the farms with a local guide, who'll tell you all about the area and farming. Learn about tea planting, processing, grading and the market locally and internationally.

THE FARM
The farmhouse is set within beautiful flower gardens surrounded by acres of tea, hills, and an indigenous forest.
Look out for the endangered Colobus monkeys and wander in the flower gardens which are home to a wide variety of birds!
Situated at 2,200m, the farm was bought and farmed since Protected content generations have lived there, somehow managing to keep the original look.

ITINERARY
08:15 ~1hr road trip. Grab a tea/coffee/chocolate at the farm shop
09:30 Cycle/walk, head out with a local guide
11:00 Join other groups for a relaxing guided tour of the old farmhouse, history of the farm, and a peek at the Kenyan English culture
11:00 Tea Tasting with snacks! Learn the process of making tea, and witness the different blends. Buy tea
12:30 A guided walk in the a nearby indeginous forest after tea time makes sense. Identify various plants and how they are used traditionally
13:00 Later, a 3-course buffet lunch is set in the flower garden. Enjoy a drink included
15:30 Back to Nairobi
