Tagikistan & Kyrgyzstan: Trip to the Hearth of Central Asia
The journey takes you to the heart of Central Asia to discover a region of exciting natural beauty with a complex orography that has favored the proximity of people with different cultural and ethnic characteristics, but who share one thing in common: the friendliness of the people. The route starts from Dushambe, the capital of Tajikistan, and arrives in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, crossing the majestic mountain chains that crown the center of Asia: the Indokush in the Wakhan region, the Pamir plateau, adorned with crystalline lakes and very high glacial peaks, the Alay and the great chains of the Tien Shan that surround the high Kyrgyz nomadic pastures reaching up to the fertile Fergana Valley.
