Grosser Mythen (9km hike) - 3.5 hours
The excursion starts in Rickenbach: the Rotenfluebahn takes us to the "Rätigs" to the middle station, where the hike begins via "Trogeli" over the sheep pasture and through the forest.
From there, the hike leads over a short steep ascent on a well-developed hiking trail through forest sections and over rock debris to "Zwüschet Mythen", with a gain in elevation of around Protected content .
Then the more relaxing part of the hike begins, where the chamois are also common. From the "Zwüschet Mythen" alp, the path leads behind the Grosse Mythen in the direction of Holzegg.

From the Holzegg there is a final ascent to the Rotenflue. After the ascent, we can take the gondola back down into the valley.
This is a challenging hike. Please wear appropriate footwear.
