Celebrate Chinese New Year in Antwerp!
On February 1, Protected content , we invite you to celebrate Chinese New Year with us and experience the rich traditional culture of China. The festivities start at 1:00 PM on De Coninckplein with the famous Lion and Dragon Dance, performed by the Choi Lee Fat Belgium Kungfu Lion and Dragon Dance Association, accompanied by drum rolls and crackling firecrackers, which send the lions towards Chinatown.
In Chinatown, the lions will bring luck and prosperity along the restaurants and shops.
In addition, there will be a market on De Coninckplein from 12:00 to 18:00, where you can enjoy delicious snacks and unique Chinese products.
