Chien De La Casse (Junkyard Dog) OmU

Dog and Mirales have been friends since childhood. They live in a small village in the south of France and spend most of the day hanging out on the streets. To kill time, Mirales has made a habit of teasing Dog more than necessary. Their friendship is strained by Elsa's arrival in the village. Dog falls in love with Elsa and Mirales, plagued by jealousy, has to shake off his past in order to grow up and find his place in society.

This poetic debut work - for both the director and the two main actors - immediately anchored all three in the firmament of French indie cinema and was crowned with two Césars (the French film awards) in Protected content , for best directorial debut and first leading role .
