Walk & Tasty Raclette Lunch in Neighboring Countryside!

Join us for an easy walk in the neighbouring French countryside, followed by a tasty Raclette. We will walk for around 8 km (approx Protected content on flat ground through the forests and fields of Ornex. Ensure to wear durable walking shoes, bring an umbrella and water.

At the end of the walk, our guide, Tor Bothner, is generously inviting us for Raclette lunch. Everything will be provided (cheese, potatoes, charcuterie, wine and soft drinks) . A payment of CHF Protected content person to be paid to our host to cover cost of food and drinks, remember to bring cash change.

We meet 10:45 at the bus stop “Maconnex-Arcades” of the 60 line.
Note: the bus leaves Cornavin at 10:10 from the back side of the station.
For drivers, there is plenty of parking behind the Arcades, look for the Pharmacy signs. (For those depending on GPS, there is no good address to give, try coordinates Protected content

Note: This is in France, make sure to have a correct ticket, and any necessary ID/passport

Return home will be from the same bus stop. A reasonable level of physical fitness and friendly attitude are required.

P.S. this walk is subject to weather. Number of participants is limited. Out of respect to our host, register only if you are sure you will attend, cancel your registration if you change your mind. Last minute cancellations and no shows are offensive.
