Sunday Hike Istan Lake Circular

A pretty 7.5 KM circular 2.5-3hr walk with 300m of climb. Starting in Istan, dropping down to the Embalse de la Concepcion reservoir and back over a ridge into Istan.
Mostly on wide track, EASY route but there is a steep gravelly down section which needs care and the narrow path tracking above the reservoir which could give people with vertigo an issue.
Drinks and tapas afterwards.
Meet at 09.50 for a 10.00 start at the parking on Calle Calvario. There is additional parking up the hill towards the playing fields and hotel.

PLEASE NOTE: NO ONE WEARING INAPPROPRIATE FOOTWEAR WILL BE ALLOWED TO JOIN THE HIKE

Appropriate footwear is hiking boots or shoes with a proper deep tread. Trainers with flat soles have caused accidents on our hikes and therefore are no longer permitted.
