Sunday Hike, First of 2025. Miradors

Traditionally our first hike of the year; an easy social circular hike starting above the Refugio de Juanar. Visiting two Miradors, with views towards Cabopino and Marbella; returning through the woods. Mostly on wide track and good footpaths; 6.5km with only 150m of climb; around 2.5hrs. (MORE) New Year drinks afterwards at the Refugio!!
09.50 for a 10.00 departure from the parking above the Refugio where the road splits around a tree. Many Spanish families go pine cone picking now so it is advised to share cars to make parking easier up the hill.
Bring plenty of water and a snack for the halfway stop.

PLEASE NOTE: NO ONE WEARING INAPPROPRIATE FOOTWEAR WILL BE ALLOWED TO JOIN THE HIKE

Appropriate footwear is hiking boots or shoes with a proper deep tread. Trainers with flat soles have caused accidents on our hikes and therefore are no longer permitted.
