Pre Xmas Nagueles Hike

A very pretty circular route through forest following a river bed up to an abandoned Hermitage where we have a break; returning on open slopes with views up towards La Concha and over to Marbella.
2.5-3 hours, 5.5km, with 280m of climb; would normally be classified as an ‘easy’, however there is an initial scramble around a rock, an exposed section with a chain handrail and loose gravel on paths which makes it a ‘easy moderate’. Due to the exposed section this is not one for people with bad vertigo.
Drinks and tapas afterwards.
Meet at the car park at the drop pin 09.50 for a 10.00 departure. This is just above Marbella bus station so possible for people using the bus.

Appropriate footwear is hiking boots or shoes with a proper deep tread. Trainers with flat soles have caused accidents on our hikes and therefore are no longer permitted. No dogs please.
