Sunday Hike, Benahavis Circular

This is a circular hike of 10.4km with 320m of climb starting in Benahavis. It follows the Guadalmina river, past the lake and then a steepish climb to the halfway point at a ruined farm with views over to Benahavis and La Concha. Mainly on good paths and wide track; this is a MODERATE hike due a rocky steep section.
Should take 3.5-4hrs.
The meeting point is the parking on the road next to Parque Torre Leonera; as you come through the gorge and into Benahavis, at the first roundabout turn right and the park is 200m on the left. 09.50 for a 10.00 prompt departure. We will drive a short way to the start of the hike.
Bring plenty of water and a snack for the halfway stop

PLEASE NOTE: NO ONE WEARING INAPPROPRIATE FOOTWEAR WILL BE ALLOWED TO JOIN THE HIKE

Appropriate footwear is hiking boots or shoes with a proper deep tread. Trainers with flat soles have caused accidents on our hikes and therefore are no longer permitted.
