Kind of kindness is Yorgos Lanthimos’ latest achievement, a triptych fable following a man without choice who tries to take control of his own life, a policeman who interrogates his wife after returning from her "drowning" and a woman determined to find a specific someone with a special ability, who is destined to become a prodigious spiritual leader.
It is a ferocious, mocking and surreal fresco mixing fear and desire, freedom and submission in a disturbing film starring Emma Stone, Jesse Plemons (awarded at Cannes for best actor), Willem Dafoe, Margaret Qualley, Hong Chau and Mamoudou Athie.
If you like Yorgos’ style and his dark humor you cannot miss this movie, that overflows with outré plot twists as well as some outrageous moments.
We will also take advantage of the Cinema in Festa promotion with a ticket for only 3.50 euros.
