See Together the Town Centre Christmas Lights (and Dalì Too)
On Saturday 21 December, we shall take a walk around the Modena town centre now lit up with Christmas lights, and see how Via Emilia Centro and the squares like Piazza Roma, Piazza XX Settembre, Piazza Manzini and Piazza Matteotti have been illuminated. We shall also pass by two works of Salvador Dalì on open display in Largo San Giorgio and Largo Porta Bologna. Indeed, the meeting point is Mr. G Tea Boutique on Rua Pioppa not far from Largo Porta Bologna and at 5pm we shall move from there. We intend to end up in Piazza Grande where the "trenino" has its terminus and there are several places nearby for an aperitivo! There is a new Irish pub, "The Mouse Trap", under the archs of Corso Duomo which we may end up at!
