Cycling and Wine Tasting in Malepère - La Louvière

Come and join us for a great cycling and wine tasting event. We will start from Bellegarde and do around 50 km with a stop at the prestigious Louvière winery for a wine tasting session. Easy on an e-bike or for regular cyclists used to a few hills this will get your blood pumping!

We will meet at my home, so a quick bike setup and then ride straight to the winery which is about 45 minutes away on an easy cycle path and quiet lanes. The tasting session with nibbles and visit is at 11:00 am, leaving the longer part of the ride for the return where there will be some hills. You will need an off-road bike as there will be some tracks but the majority of the ride is on quiet roads and lanes. You need to be happy being in the saddle for about 3 hours and be relatively fit due to the hills unless you have an e-bike, in which case it will be fairly easy. I can possibly lend you a bike/e-bike at a small fee to cover maintenance - please contact me directly.

Returning to my home we can have some lunch as an "auberge espagnole", (everybody brings something to eat and drink), chill by the pool or go home directly, as you prefer.

I have MTB (VTT) bikes I can lend and a limited number of e-bikes with a small charge of 10Euros and 15Euros respectively to contribute to my maintenance costs. The tasting session is free.
