Des Vélos, Des Roses Et Du Vin

Come and join us for a fun day cycling from Bellegarde to Camon in the Arriège, amongst the prettiest villages in France, for their annual rose festival. Not only will there be the opportunity to view the displays and purchase roses but there will be all sorts of activities including concerts as well as street food.

We will take part in the official "Des velos et des roses" cycling event along the voie verte. At the arrival in Camon the first Protected content register for the official event will get a free T-shirt. The total distance is approximately 38km for a VERY EASY ride.

We will meet at my house first at 9:30 am and then cycle in order to get to the official starting point on the cycle way at the allotted time of 10:30.
Those who get there early enough can have tea,coffee and croissants at my house.

At Camon we will lock bikes and visit the village and festival, then find somewhere for lunch.

For those who wish to we can share a good bottle of local wine together.

We will ride back together and will be back at the house by 5pm at the latest. If anybody wishes to stay later for any of the activities they may do so and make their own way back if they are bringing their own bike.
