Urban Jungle Hike 2025 & Season Kick-off Picnic

Happy New Year SF Bay Explorers! Let's slide into the Protected content with a Bang and get together for a historically enriching hike with spectacular views, conveniently located right in the city: THE PRESIDIO

We'll hike an abbreviated, easy/moderate 6 mile loop through this National Park visiting landmark highlights, such as Inspiration Point, National Cemetery, Marshall Beach, Golden Gate Bridge, Crissy Field... Spectacular vistas guaranteed!!

LOGISTICS
Meeting point is in the center of Presidio to be shared with confirmed participants. There is plenty of parking ($15/day) and also public transportation.

FOOD & ENTERTAINMENT
We will have our BYO style lunch at the Beach. Afterwards we’ll do our Protected content Season Kick-Off Picnic at the Tunnel Tops/Main Lawn. BYO food, drinks and lawn games. We'll provide some of that.

This hike is quite unique and a true Classic (often not even known to SF locals)! It offers great views of the city, historic buildings, the Bay and the Pacific while leading us through a carefully preserved and maintained natural environment containing native plants, sand dunes and wetlands. Join our fun group for the new year for more hiking, great company, networking & to enjoy our wonderful nature right in the city:-)
