Hike and Cheese!

Dear group,

this time we'll join our usual hiking with an unusual activity: we will be visiting a dairy and making cheese!

The activity will take place inside Dynamo Oasis, a WWF affiliated nature reserve in the heart of Tuscany.
Oasi Dynamo is over Protected content large overlooking the Pistoia Apennines, reaching an altitude of 1,100 meters. From here, you can also see the sea on the horizon!

In the past, this territory was home to a hunting reserve, but today it is a virtuous model of environmental sustainability and social responsibility on a national level.

During the excursion we will have the unique opportunity to work in a dairy and make cheese, also visit the cowshed and the maturing room.

Of course, the cheese we will be making will be ours!

Total climb altitude: Protected content
Actual travel time without stops: 3 hrs
Difficulty level: Easy
Duration: day trip, packed mid-day lunch

Required equipment:
Suitable dressing for the weather forecast, trekking shoes, water 1.5L min.

Carpooling will be attempted to reach the starting point of the hike but seats for everybody cannot be guaranteed.

Therefore, please consider using your own mean of transportation to reach the starting point; I'd be really grateful if you can offer seats to other participants!
