The Siegburg Middle-Ages Christmas Market has ALWAYS been on my bucket list but Ive never managed it until now.
Strolling through Siegburg's market square in the run-up to Christmas feels like you've been transported back centuries. Here you can meet jugglers, beadles and craftsmen. Wooden market stalls, torches and candles, crafts that are barely practiced, fine costumes and musicians - a unique atmosphere that delights thousands of visitors year after year. Songs from the Middle Ages are performed, jugglers and pranksters entertain the audience and traders sell their wares at decorated stalls. Food and drink are well catered for at the medieval market.”
