Xmas Market: Sunday Hang Out

Meeting point is at 3.30 pm, in front of the Polygon Gallery, main entrance, next to which is the Xmas Market.

Whether you want to do some last minute Xmas shopping, or just stroll around, we invite you to revel in the festive spirit of The Shipyards Christmas Market, a 5 min walk from the North Vancouver Sea Bus station, just past the Public Market & next to the Polygon Gallery.

If you never took the Sea Bus (local mini ferry), it is a pleasant 12 min crossing from the Waterfront Seabus/Skytrain station in Vancouver.

Weave your way through the sparkling lights and aisles of 70 wooden stalls selling unique artisanal gifts. Enjoy festive music, admire the City’s Christmas tree, relax in the Champagne tent, visit Santa's chalet, appreciate community entertainment, or try out some ice-skating. Indulge in some seasonal treats, like Bratwursts, Mulled wine or Hot cocoa. Sample local or BC made liqueurs from Salt Spring island, or if you feel hungry, check out some of the finest European delicacies, such as the traditional Portuguese soup, or the French-style Fondue, to name just a few.

It is free to attend and we can stay for as long or as little as we wish (times provided are just approximate), because the market is open until late.
