Amarone Wine Tasting
Dear wine lovers!
Amarone della Valpolicella is undeniably one of the great Italian red wines. It is an is an intensely aromatic dry red wine made from dried (passito) grapes. With its rich fruit, powerful body and smooth tannins, Amarone is one of the greatest and most distinctive wines of Italy today.
On the 17th of September, the trade association "Famiglie Storiche", a grouping of 13 historic and renowned wineries in Valpolicella, will come to Hamburg, to present some of the most renowned Amarones.
Among them are prestigious names such as Allegrini, Masi, Tommasi and Zenato.
The event will take place in two parts: the first part will be reserved to wine professionals, but from 16:30 onwards it is open to the general public for an exclusive Walkaround-Tasting. It is also an opportunity to meet the winemakers!
